Koyotes 2015 Signings

Cedric Hearvey

The Kansas Koyotes are proud to announce the signing of indoor football veteran, Cedric Hearvey.Cedric is a native of Dallas Texas ave a graduate of DuncanvilleHighschool. The 6'4 255 Hearvey brings knowledge and experience to the Koyotes defense. Cedric has spent the past 5 years being the defensive leader for the North Texas Crunch indoor football team playing defensive end,line backer and safety. He also played with the NewMexico Stars and the San Angelo Bombers . Coach Cavanaugh says the Hearvey's size speed and leadership should make an immediate impact on the Koyotes defense. Cedric knows the game and just makes plays.

Jeffrey Colter

The Kansas Koyotes are proud to announce the returning of former 2x team defensive MVP and all APFL Corner Back 5'8 180 lb Jeffrey Colter A Lawrence Kansas native, Colter returns for his 5th season with the Koyotes. "Colter brings that Veteran leadership a team needs to be successful"Cavanaugh says."year after year Jeff has proven to be a big part of the Kansas Koyotes secondary and looks to continue that role for the 2015 season.

Porter "Cali" Hill

The Kansas Koyotes are happy to return OL/DL Porter "Cali" Hill for his second season with the Koyotes for 2015. Standing 6'5 weighing285 the native of Compton, California High School graduate signed to Fresno State out of high school. 2007 Hill was So Cal linemen of the year. Also being named 1st team All Dream Team. Hill was ranked 3rd best Defensive Lineman in California. "Cali brings technique size and wisdom to the field, almost like having an coach on the field," Cavanaugh stated.

Joshua Black

The Kansas Koyotes are happy to sign Receiver and Defensive back Joshua Black . A graduated from center high school in Center, Texas where he played football basketball and ran track, Joshua Black graduated and than went to Blinn College where he walked on and earned a scholarship playing football, then earned a scholarship to attend Central Washington University where he was named 2nd team all GNAC at WR had 76 catches 1009 yrds and 12 tds The next year Black was named 1st team All GNAC at Linebacker. "With his 6'4 235lb frame, Josh has the ability to make plays on both sides of the football with a high intensity level. And with his power and speed he has big play ability where ever he's lined up.

Kyle Cool

The Kansas Koyotes are pleased to sign California stand out Quarterback Kyle Cool for the 2015 season. After breaking Branham Highschool for rushing yards for a season by a quarterback and most combined yards for a season his senior year in California, the 6'1 200 lb Cool ,went on to make Coast Conference All Conference Team with San Jose Community College placing a Qb rating that ranked 5th in the State of California. He than attended Montana Western University. "Kyle is a dual threat ability makes him dangerous. He is a students of the game, and he plays the game with heart and passion.

Brashard "Bookk" Booker

The Kansas Koyotes sign D1 and North Western State Star safety Brashard "Bookk" Booker. Born to Walter McCullar and Tracie Booker, Bookk received First Team All-Distict and All-State honors at Terrell High School in Terrell, Texas. He than signed to Northwestern State University. As a Defensive Back for the Demons, Bookk went on to be a valuable asset to the Demons secondary ranking 2nd on the team in tackles, 2nd on the team in pass break ups, and first in blocked kicks in 2010 and being named pre season All SLC in 2011. The 6'2 190lb Defensive back "brings that down hill, old school power hitting, nose for the football type of skill to the secondary. He is very fundamentally sound and has the athleticism to tackle and cover. One of those type of players that makes it easier to call a defense." Head Coach Carlos Cavanaugh replied.

Kenny Stokes

Kansas Koyotes has signed former Mid-Missouri Outlaws Indoor Football TeamDefensive Back and Kick Returner veteran Kenny Stokes. Residing in Olathe, Kansas, the former Coffeyville Community College Defensive Back, Stokes led Mid-Missouri in interceptions in 2013, and looks to bring his play making ability to the Koyotes Secondary. "Kenny is a vet who knows the game and has a nose for the ball. He hads proven he can make big plays and we like big plays" Head Coach Carlos Cavanaugh stated

A.J. Sambol

The Kansas Koyotes have signed A.J. Sambol. Sambol is a 6'3 265lb Offensive Linemen who Played 2 years at Highland Community College. He was a 2 year starter and an All Conference Center. After Highland, A.J. went on to Mid America Nazarene University where he was a starting as a.. Center and Gaurd. "A.J. has good hands and feet and plays with good pad level. A.j. brings strength to our offensive line." Coach Cavanaugh stated.

Austin Hamm

The Kansas Koyotes are proud to announce the return of Austin Hamm to the defensive line for the 2015 season. The 5'11" 255lb Hamm, a resident of Spring, Kansas was a starter and and a All -Conference on the defensive line for Baker University. "Austin join theKoyotes mid season last year and proved he could be a force in pass rushing and run stopping. "Austin is one of those guys that was blessed with freakish strength and plays with a high motor. He knows how to use his size, speed, and strength to his advantage. Austin is a well rounded defensive lineman that can make plays and that I am glad that we could re-sign " Coach Cavanaugh stated.
